When it’s time to finally replace those diesel parts, Summit Racing carries Bostech Auto diesel components that are remanufactured to, and often better than, OEM specifications. You get affordable, high-quality parts that will keep your diesel-powered truck going down the road for many more miles.
EGR coolers usually fail for one of two reasons. They either crack and allow coolant and exhaust gas to mix, or they clog up with unburned fuel deposits. Bostech manufactures brand new EGR coolers from stainless steel tubing for improved heat resistance and to eliminate deposits. All joints and seams are TIG-welded for a strong connection between the tubes and plates and the plates and cooler housing. Bostech hot water pressure-tests and fitment-tests each cooler before it goes out the door.
Summit Racing carries Bostech EGR Coolers for Dodge/Ram Cummins, Ford Powerstroke, and GM Duramax engines. We also have a kit for Ford 6.0L Powerstroke engines that includes the cooler, intake manifold, oil cooler, EGR valve, and gaskets.
Fuel injection pumps depend on diesel fuel for cooling and lubrication. Run your truck with low levels of fuel in the tank and over time dirt, rust, and other contaminants will get into your pump and do bad things.
The best solution is to always run with a full tank and have the fuel system cleaned periodically to flush out the nasty stuff. But when you need to replace your CP3 injection pump, go with Bostech. It remanufactures pumps the right way–cores are completely disassembled, each component is inspected, polished, and certified to meet OEM specifications, then reassembled and flow-tested so they’re ready to run out of the box.
Summit Racing has Bostech CP3 pumps for 2004-10 GM 6.6L Duramax and 2003-18 Dodge/Ram 5.9L and 6.7L Cummins engines.
The oil pump in the International/Navistar-made 6.0L Powerstroke engines are designed to compress the fuel in the injectors. The pump should be generating 3,000 to 4,000 PSI of pressure at wide open throttle and 600 to 700 PSI at idle. If the pressure drops below 500 PSI, the engine will simply die or not start at all.
When that happens, get a Bostech replacement oil pump. Each pump core is disassembled, internal components are inspected and remanufactured to OEM standards, then flow- and pressure-tested so they’re ready to go. The pump for 2005-10 engines comes with a cover gasket, injector pressure regulator (IPR) valve, and a snap-to-connect injector feed fitting. The pump for 2003-04 engines comes with a cover gasket and tube seals.
Summit Racing also carries Bostech Auto remanufactured fuel injectors, oil coolers, valve cover gaskets, and other components for Ford, GM, and Dodge/Ram diesel engines.
